Foreign ownership in Bulgaria

According to the provisions of the Bulgarian laws, foreign citizens are not entitled to acquire ownership over land, however they are entitled to purchase buildings and other real estates. In case they incorporate company in Bulgaria, they can own land in the name of the company they hold. In future Bulgarian policy will be harmonized with the standards of the European Union in respect of ownership.

Purchase of real estate

You can declare your willingness to purchase real estate with some of the current projects of Conventot Ltd., mailing or e-mailing the due form. You have to specify explicitly are you interested only in the specified site either you are willing to purchase land as well. Please, be reminded again that in this case the requirements of Bulgarian laws provide you the register a company in the state.

After submission of your form you will receive an initial draft sale agreement. In case construction is completed, we recommend you to perform the necessary verifications regarding the ownership, employing Bulgarian lawyer.

Signing the deed for title of ownership before notary public (the sale agreement) can be performed before Bulgarian notary public in Bulgaria or in the respective Bulgarian embassy. Please, be advised that the final deed for title of ownership remains unsigned until the completion of the construction.
